The studies were compiled in course of free legal aid project that lasted for the last two years. EELC provided free legal aid from June 2008 to June 2010, within this period 60 persons were counseled, about 20 cases, including three taken to court, needed a more thorough aid.

10 case analyses compiled on single cases give an overview of the practical application of environmental legislation and which are the problems encountered by environmental organizations, individuals and officials. Cases analyzed include the local protection area of Ess-soo bog, Audru fish farm, national development plan for mineral resources used for construction etc.

Aggregate analyses compiled on issues related to establishment of mines and noise and odour give an overview of the most important legal deficiencies in these areas and provide solutions to the issues.

The analyses are available in Estonian on the following page:  http://www.k6k.ee/tegevused/projektid/loppenud-projektid/keskkonnaalaste-juhtumite-oiguslik-kasitlemine-ja-analuus
